RON TIMMONS JOINS GICHNER AS
MANAGER OF SHOP OPERATIONS.
Dallastown, Pennsylvania – June 6, 2005 - Gichner
Shelter Systems, a division of Gichner Systems Group LLC,
and a world leader in the design, development and production
of tactical and logistic shelters and shelter systems announced
today that Ron Timmons has joined the company as Manager
of Shop Operations. Reporting directly to Owen Aldinger,
Director of Manufacturing, Ron will be responsible for all
aspects of shop operations including the continuation of
the lean manufacturing and quality improvement initiatives.
Ron was most recently a Business Unit Manager for the Carrier
Transicold Division of United Technologies. He brings with
him, his expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Quality Improvement
Methods, as well as his experience in team building, manufacturing
management, and process engineering.
Owen Aldinger, Director of Manufacturing stated, “We
are pleased to have Ron join our team and look forward to
adding his talents and perspective to our organization.
His background and experience will be a welcome addition
to the existing staff of talented manufacturing managers
and supervisors.”
