GICHNER IS PLEASED TO WELCOME DICK SMITH TO THE ORGANIZATION.

Dallastown, Pennsylvania – June 7th 2006 - Gichner Shelter Systems, a division of Gichner Systems Group LLC, and a world leader in the design, development and production of tactical and logistic shelters and shelter systems, is pleased to welcome Dick Smith as our Product Marketing Manager for Gichner's new truck body division.
Dick comes to us from Thermo king where he previously held positions as district and regional sales manager. His most recent position at Thermo king involved a program where Thermo king purchased underperforming dealers, rebuilt and grew them back to profitability and then sold them at a profit. Dick knows the truck body business, and dealership/distributors and will be a valuable asset to our organization as we grow the business. It is our plan that Dick be the catalyst to get the business unit running.
In addition to our new line of Truck Bodies, Gichner Shelter Systems designs, manufactures and integrates tactical and logistic shelters and related products for military and commercial applications. Its shelters, assembled from lightweight bonded panels fabricated using both foam and beam and honeycomb core construction are used worldwide. Gichner's core products include all of the US military Standard Family of Tactical Shelters as well as numerous custom designed shelters and derivatives.
In addition to its extensive line of standard shelters, Gichner provides turn-key systems that are "rack ready" for the installation of its customers electronic systems. Gichner offers more than 35 years of engineering expertise in the application of proven solutions and the development of custom solutions to systems mobility and environmental protection of electronic systems. Its customer list includes virtually every major prime contractor as well as all of the major military buying commands. Gichner products are sold and serviced worldwide.
